It's no fun being sick, but Laynie did a good job of keeping Daddy company all day while he recovered.

Day 211: July 30, 2011

We started doing a chore chart with Laynie. When she fills it up, she gets a prize. There was a little confusion at first. She wasn't very happy when she realized she didn't get every prize in the bucket. P.S. Not sure what's up with the bottom of the pic, sorry!

Laynie laid down by her baby and sang songs to her so she would fall asleep. So cute!

We did curlers for church today. I just thought they looked cute in her hair.

Day 197: July 16, 2011

Before we headed home today, Laynie wanted to ride the "choo choo train" (aka shuttle) one more time. We hopped on and were the only ones riding. Of course, it had technical issues and stopped for no reason. Our quick little trip, ended up lasting about 20 minutes.

Day 196: July 15, 2011

Playing arcade games. Laynie was a rockstar! She played the games all by herself and won some pretty fun prizes.

Day 195: July 14, 2011

Laynie made her first trip to Build-A-Bear today. She wasn't so sure about the bear being stuffed, but loved dressing it and putting bows in its hair. She proudly packed the box all around the mall.

Day 193: July 12, 2011

We made binoculars this morning. Laynie spent the rest of the day spotting things throughout the house.

Day 189: July 8, 2011

While Laynie was playing today, she tipped backward and fell into her bucket. She kept shouting, "Oh no, I'm stuck!" It was pretty funny.

We watched Minnie's Masquerade today, so we had to make a princess crown too.

We washed the car today, and Laynie found the mud puddle. As you can see, she had a blast!
