Today we tried out water coloring. It was a big hit. Now Laynie wants to paint everyday.

Laynie made Daddy take one more dip in the pool before we headed back home.

While on our family vacation, Grandma helped Laynie make an I Spy bottle. Laynie has had so much fun finding things in it.

Laynie has become my little "I Spy" buddy. On this page of tools, she was finding all the tools off of Handy Manny and telling me their names. This is Pat the hammer.

Day 220: August 8, 2011

Laynie came up with a new game today. She hits balloons with my wooden spoons. Only problem is now I have an empty drawer and wooden spoons scattered all over the house. Silly girl!

Laynie pulled out our suitcase today and climbed inside. She waved bye to me and said, "See ya later Mommy!" I guess it's time for a vacation.

We helped out a friend by watching her granddaughter this week. Laynie had so much fun with "She-she," as she called her, and wasn't ready for the week to end.
